Pilar Olvera

Scholar Advisor, All-In Milwaukee

Born and raised on the South Side of Milwaukee, Pilar is passionate about transforming her city through initiatives that promote educational equity and college access. She recognizes the immense value intentional mentorship can have on student success from her years of experience working with pre-college programs and academic support services. Pilar earned her B.A. in Sociology and Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. As All-In Milwaukee aligns with her commitment to increasing the persistence and graduation of historically underrepresented students in postsecondary education, she is excited to offer them the guidance, empowerment, and resources necessary along their academic and professional journey!
