Meet Michael

Michael Vázquez

Scholar Advisor

Michael was born and raised in Milwaukee. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master’s degree in Educational Policy and Foundations from Marquette University. His career has been shaped by his passion to serve and guide young people in Milwaukee. Most recently, he served as a College Counselor at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School where he supported students in the college application and decision-making process. As a Scholar Advisor for UW-Milwaukee students, he looks to build connections with students as they embark on their higher educational endeavors. Ultimately, he looks to intentionally support his students as they progress to graduation and transform Milwaukee!
