Mitzi Keel is the Development Director at All-In Milwaukee. She is responsible for ensuring the organization has the necessary funds to support the scholars of this city complete college to build their careers and transform this community. In her role, she shares All-In Milwaukee’s movement and impact with local, regional, and national funders and provides strategic leadership for the organization’s communications and marketing efforts.
Mitzi brings over 15 years of experience in education non-profit operations, and fundraising. Before joining the team at All-In Milwaukee, she held positions at the Center for Education Reform (The Yass Prize) and the Drexel Fund, leading team operations and finance administration. Previously, Mitzi was Chief of Staff for Schools That Can Milwaukee, where she served on the leadership team and led team-wide operations and HR, development strategy, and day-to-day management of the Board of Directors. Mitzi also worked for Teach For America, recruiting corps members and staff members, coordinated operations for TFA’s 2009 and 2010 Chicago training institutes, and led fundraising for the Milwaukee region from 2010-2014. She has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
Mitzi made Milwaukee her home in 2010 and enjoys walking her dog in all the county parks, kayaking along Milwaukee’s rivers, singing at Old St. Mary’s, and hosting her annual backyard Oktoberfest!
