Meet Lidia

Lidia joined the All-In Milwaukee team in May 2022. She serves as a Scholar Advisor for AIM students at Alverno College and Marquette University. After having a career shift, Lidia found a passion in working with students in higher education from underrepresented backgrounds. With experience in advising, career education, and instruction, Lidia will continue to guide students to success.

Before joining All-In, Lidia served as a Grace Scholar Advisor at Mount Mary University. The Grace Scholars Program gave Lidia the tools to provide students with effective goal-setting tips, regulation strategies to help deal with stress, and offering adequate emotional and social support for students. In addition, Lidia collaborated with staff of all levels to assess and develop appropriate action plans for student retention. Lidia developed a curriculum, Discovering Your Purpose, that helped students learn the following competencies: professional development, self-advocacy, health and well-being, personal identity, and financial literacy. She also led the Grace Ambassador Program which helped prospective first-year students with their college transition.

Lidia was also part of the Hispanic Serving Institution Council and served as a co-chair facilitator. She implemented a proposal to initiate a ‘Latina con Fuerzas’ event that commemorates LATINX students. Lidia graduated from Alverno College (2017) with her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in psychology with minors in elective studies and adult education. She then continued her education and received her Master of Arts and Sciences in counseling at Mount Mary University (2017).

Lidia is excited to continue growing and learning with the All-In Milwaukee team!
