Meet Allison

Allison Wagner is the Founding Executive Director of All-In Milwaukee. Allison has spent more than fifteen years in the in the K to 12 education and nonprofit arenas. In 2015, she successfully launched Wagner Consulting to support education and nonprofit organizations with executive searches, human capital strategy, strategic planning, and development planning. Over three years, Allison had 18 clients and supported the strategic placement and transitions of hundreds of executives, leaders and teachers in the education and nonprofit arenas.

Prior to Wagner Consulting, Allison was the Director of Growth at Schools That Can Milwaukee (STCM). Allison established the STCM human capital strategy for the charter, Choice, and district schools in the STCM network. Under her leadership, STCM launched an Emerging Leaders Program and built a partnership between STCM, Alverno College, and the Burke Foundation to train and certify urban school leaders for Milwaukee. Finally, Allison started the STCM talent recruitment and placement work as she recognized the need to recruit more talent to Milwaukee while growing the network’s internal talent.

Before STCM, Allison was the Managing Director of the New Leaders Chicago program. At New Leaders, Allison was responsible for the recruitment, admissions, training, and support of more than 160 Chicago school leaders. Allison managed a team responsible for the New Leaders Chicago pipeline through the Emerging Leaders Program, and the recruitment of educators across the country.

Before joining New Leaders, Allison worked on the assessment and education teams for the American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C. Her clients included the Ohio Department of Education, the National Assessment of Educational Progress, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Allison has a B.S. in Elementary Education and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also earned her M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
